EMPLOYMENT

Employed with Speckin Forensic Laboratories- October 1997- Present

  • Responsibilities include the development and preservation of latent prints from all types of evidence and the comparison of latent prints in order to make identifications, all aspects of forensic document analysis including handwriting and crime scene investigation and reconstruction.

Michigan State Police Crime Lab (1976-1997)

  • Transferred to the Warren Crime Laboratory in May of 1976 and successfully completed a mandatory three-year training program in latent print processing and identification and crime scene collection/preservation of evidence by court-qualified forensic examiners. During this time period, I worked on over 7600 cases and assisted in the processing of approximately 200 major crime scenes.

Michigan State Police (1972-1976)

  • Successfully completed trooper recruit school in the fall of 1972 and was assigned as a road trooper at the Romeo State Police Post from 1972 until May of 1976. During this time my activities included road patrol, crime scene investigation, the investigation of criminal activity, and testimony in court.
